JCDecaux North America is part of an international media and communications company, JCDecaux Out-of-Home Media Group, founded in 1964. JCDecaux is a world leader in out-of-home media with over 714,000 advertising panels across 46 countries. It is Europe's largest billboard owner and the world's largest owner of street furniture.

JCDecaux has three worldwide advertising divisions: Street Furniture (bus shelters, kiosks, newsstands, automatic public toilets, etc.) Transportation (airports, train stations, etc.) and shopping malls (free standing ad panels, banners)

JCDecaux's worldwide mall division handles contracts in 775 shopping centers worldwide.    US Overview
In 1998, the company established JCDecaux Mallscape, an ambitious program positioning the mall as a new advertising medium and providing elegantly designed structures and amenities at malls in the top US markets. JCDecaux signed an exclusive 15-year contract with Simon Property Group, the world's largest mall developer.

Since then, similar deals have been signed with Urban Property Group and the Taubman Company, two other major mall developers with upscale properties in the top advertising markets. These three partnerships have resulted in JCDecaux installing over 7,000 advertising panels in 99 malls in 22 states, creating the core of JCDecaux's fast-expanding, first-class national mall advertising network.
